This is page six of Hazel Kimble’s scrapbook. These cards appear to be from friends and family of Jessie Brown [Hazel’s mother].
The names that I have been able to identify include:
- Lucy A. Brown. Lucy was the daughter of Benjamin and Jane Billings Brown, Jessie Brown’s Aunt.
- Ora Willoughby. I am not sure who Ora was, but Jessie’s mother’s maiden name was Willoughby. Perhaps this is Jessie’s uncle. This may also be the person that Hazel’s brother, Ora Kimble, was named after.
- Josephine Handley. Josephine Handley was Benjamin Brown’s [Jessie Brown’s grandfather] stepdaughter.
- Bell Fasig. Bell was married to Albert Fasig according to the 1870 census. The Fasig family lived near Benjamin Brown (Jessie’s grandfather) in Wyandot County.
- Sherman Billings. I am not sure exactly who Sherman was, but Benjamin Brown’s second wife was Jane Billings and Joseph Kimble’s mother’s maiden name was Billings. This could be a relation on either side of the family.
- James Billings. I am not sure exactly who James was, but Benjamin Brown’s second wife was Jane Billings and Joseph Kimble’s mother’s maiden name was Billings. This could be a relation on either side of the family.
- Orin A. Willoughby. Orin was Jessie Brown’s uncle (her mother’s brother).
- Willie H. Fasig. I am unsure who Willie was, but I am guessing he is related to the Fasig’s that lived near Benjamin Brown.
- W.C. Brown. This is William C. Brown, who was Jessie’s uncle.
